Luigi Piazza has gained in-depth experience in corporate and banking law both in litigation and consulting, acquiring specific experience in corporate governance and liability of directors and companies, a subject on which he has carried out specific studies at Italian and foreign universities. In litigation he has followed primary proceedings on liability actions, validity of shareholders' and board resolutions, serious irregularities in management, causes of company dissolution, breach of shareholders' agreements, acquisition contracts, and banking contracts and services. In the consulting field, he provides assistance on an ongoing basis to leading industrial and banking companies, directors, shareholders, and auditors.
He has equally extensive experience in extraordinary transactions. Prior to joining the firm, he practiced at leading Italian firms and received specific teaching and collaboration assignments for undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
